To all residents of Lakeside:
In preparation for Hurricane Irma, please bring inside any loose items on your property. All bicycles should be brought inside your unit. Please close your hurricane shutters in advance of the storm. Please contact your caretakers for assistance during this preparation.
As a reminder, hurricane shutters will need to be opened again within 14 days after the storm.

Lakeside Pool Seawall and Pool Deck update:
Backfilling was completed and a new pool overflow pipe has been installed for the new pool seawall. Deck framing started on September 5th.
Ault Electric was called to repair the power feed to the electrical outlet at the gazebo while there is easy access to the wiring. Daniels Fence Company will come to verify the attachment points for their fencing. The deck boards should be delivered next week and they will finish the deck. Superior Pool will partially drain the pool next week and fix the underwater lights.

NOTICE OF IRRIGATION PROBLEMS - January 17, 2014
Due to an irrigation break near Pelican and Plantation Beach Club near the road, the irrigation service to the Ocean Side of the property ( Beachwalk, PBC, Pelican, Spoonbill, Plantation House, Ocean House, Ocean Terrace, Tennis Villas, Lakeside) has been turned off.
Sunshine has been notified and they are currently awaiting locates before they can dig. We anticipate digging early next week.
The water to the Riverside ( all other condos) will be left on at this time.

From the Lakeside Board of Directors:
Beginning the evening of May 4th, the Lakeside pool will be closed for a complete resurfacing and restoration.
We intend the project to be completed by Memorial Day Weekend. However, this will depend on the weather and he condition of the pool bottom when it is drained and sounded.

Recently, the bulletin board became so cluttered that all ads re: "unit
rentals" had to be removed. In the future, please place all such ads on 3/5"
index cards. From time to time, if the number of ads is excessive, we will
try to consolidate them. Also, please note, that you can have such ads
posted on our web site.

We will be happy to place your rental ads. We are thinking of providing a link on our website to rentals for next season. Currently In the INFORMATION section of the Lakeside website ( that everyone can access), there is a Frequently Asked Question asking about rentals. One of our Lakeside owners, Jerry McWilliams had us put ads here last season. We will only use ads from Lakeside homeowners ( and realtors if they are Lakeside homeowners). The Lakeside Pool is scheduled to be closed for renovation for 3 weeks starting on MAY 6th! More information about the pool's new look will be posted soon!

E.C.S. Janitorial Services is now cleaning the common areas at Lakeside such as the pool, patio, grill, and our individual stairs and front porches. They work really hard and are doing a great job. One way to show your appreciation would be to call their office and let them know how much you value their services. Their manager takes notes of the feedback and rewards the staff appropriately, if sufficient calls are received. If you agree that our cleaners are doing a good job, please call the Manager of E.C.S., Christie O'Connor, and tell her what you think - 772-634-4073.
